MIHOP TRANSITION
As of 11-11, 2010, the Maryland International House of Prayer (MIHOP) has transitioned out of our former location, a back room at Cornerstone Fellowship in Frederick MD.

MIHOP staff is praying daily together. We will update you when God gives us fresh direction for this transition. In the meantime, we are still providing prayer alerts and facilitating prayer projects regionally and nationally.

Thank you for your patience and prayers during this exciting time!

MIHOP LOCATION TRANSITION!

By Jon & Jolene Hamill | 11-11, 2010

For many months, we have felt the Lord calling into a new season personally and as a ministry. For seven years, Jolene and I have attended Cornerstone Fellowship in Frederick MD. We have great memories of our time with Cornerstone. We met, fell in love, and were married there. Our children Jonathan and Ashley received much mentoring and enrichment from so many friends. Through our time at Cornerstone, we had the honor of serving the church through intercession and sharing insights from the Lord.

The Lord has now directed us to transition out of Cornerstone Fellowship in order to step into the next phase of building.

In fact, it was three years ago-on 11-11, 2007--that we transitioned into leadeship and had our first meeting as the directors of MIHOP. We are grateful for Donn and Marye Williams for entrusting to us the Maryland International House of Prayer (MIHOP) It is really encouraging to see the Lord establish a regional prayer center with weekly intercession for Israel, a prayer watch with many pastors in the region, a weekly awakening service, and a morning watch Monday-Friday. This watch has been led with great dilligence by Frederick's first fulltime intercessory missionary Richard Kisang--who deserves a hero's honor for his persistence and faithfulness!

Many have asked us where we're actually moving to... And the answer is... we don't really know. We can totally identify with Abraham. Because the Lord made clear He has been waiting on our obedience in this transition before revealing the next steps! Needless to say this has been a little unsettling.

With this in mind, our MIHOP team will be seeking the Lord dilligently about the next phase of building for the prayer center. No public MIHOP watches will be facilitated for the time being. We anticipate this process will be over by the beginning of 2011, where we will hopefully be in a new venue to advance in regional worship and intercession.

Our ultimate goal is to find a free-standing facility that can serve as a "hub" for regional 24/7 worship and prayer as well as coordinated efforts by the corporate body of Christ. Please pray for God's provision to be fully released as we labor together to build this sacred altar for Jesus Christ!

It's important to note that Richard Kisang will continue to serve as a salaried MIHOP prayer missionary as we transition. Jolene and I will keep you updated as we move forward. We are glad to answer any questions you may have. In the meantime, we are grateful for the investment so many of you have made to continue this sacred cause!

With affection,
Jon & Jolene
